Sorry for the delay! Because you asked for the Black Tarot, which tends to be a dark deck, I've switched the placement of the cards, darkness first.

The Dark: XVIII The Moon
The strong warrior, empowered by the light of the moon. As that which holds you back, this card speaks to cycles of change and growth, but also the habit to doubt, to feel as if one is on uncertain, shifting footing. She is strong but cautious, uncertain in herself.

The Light: XVII The Star
The victorious champion, the paladin of light, watched by a thousand eyes of wisdom. As that which pushes forward, this card speaks to the eternal search for knowledge and the call to share what we've learned with others. She is bold, fearless, but also wise and compassionate.


I've done several readings with this deck, so the fact that a well shuffled spread still pulled two of the Major Arcana, in order, is significant. Something BIG is either in progress or about to get going. A third card pulled the Knave of Chalices, which bodes well for a positive conclusion to BIG THING, though you may (will?) have to fight for it.
